Wendy Hafner-Bakken, M.S., CCC-SLP

Revolution Speech Therapy, PLLC was established by Wendy Hafner-Bakken, M.S., CCC-SLP in 2024. Wendy is an ASHA-Certified Speech Language Pathologist and has been providing speech and language therapy services for the past 26 years. Throughout this time, she has enjoyed providing therapy to children and adolescents in schools, private practice, and home-based services.
Wendy received her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University. She worked in Arizona for nine years before returning to North Dakota in 2007. For the past 17 years, Wendy has enjoyed serving children and adolescents in the Bismarck Public School District as well as Early Intervention and Right Track. In 2010, Wendy received an Autism Spectrum Disorders Graduate Certificate from the University of North Dakota. She has a passion for working with children/adolescents with autism and providing support for them as well as their families.
Wendy takes pride in knowing the importance of relationships and strives to build rapport with each child/family in order to enhance carryover of skills. Wendy's areas of strength include articulation/speech sound disorders, social pragmatic communication, receptive/expressive language disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Wendy lives in Bismarck with her husband, Steve, and enjoys traveling, watching/playing sports, spending time with family, running with her dogs, and enjoying time on the river during the beautiful North Dakota summers. She loves living in the Bismarck community and enjoys volunteering with a variety of organizations in order to make the lives of others better.
